Same stuff new names: Most, if not all, medications used to treat asthma in Germany, Europe & around the world are available in the USA & Canada. They may have different trade names but they're usually made by the same pharmaceutical companies. If she has her old inhalers show them to her allergist or pulmonologist. It should be easy to figure out what she was taking & provide her with equivalent medications.

See a local doctor: If she sees a local doctor she can get new prescriptions. She will need someone to manage her disease locally so merelyh bring in her meds won't be sufficient for her any way.

Prescription...: If your fiancé was on prescription asthma meds, she will need to see a physician and get prescriptions for her meds. Prescription can then be filled by your local pharmacy.
