Uterus removal: Cancer in the uterus will be one of the reason to remove the uterus. There are other reasons women would have the uterus removed. In general, in the hand of an experienced gynecologist / or gynecologist oncologist- surgical removal of the uterus would be something safe to be done. Off course complications like bleeding, infection, pain, etc can happen. Go to see your gyne and discuss further w/ md.
