Venous Insufficiency: Likely you have venous stasis of venous insufficiency. You leg veins may not be carrying blood upwards, and as such, the fluid in the blood leaks out into the lower legs. Hemosiderin deposits can stain the legs a brownish, reddish color. Consider use of support hose or seeing a doctor specializing in vein disease.
