Keep spine aligned: There are many reasons that you may have back pain. A too soft mattress may be an issue. If you are a side sleeper and have back pain you should strive to keep your back aligned at night. Use a knee pillow between your legs so that your spine stays straight and so that your leg does not come over and twist your spine.
