OUCH!: Tongues can be especially troublesome because they never stop moving and they are loaded with blood vessels! most wounds will heal on their own, but you can help stop the bleeding by wetting a tea bag and applying it with pressure to the wound. If the pain does not subside, or bleeding doesn't stop, call your dentist for evaluation.
