Likely normal: I do not know what surgery you had, or if the swelling you describe is located at one of the surgical sites. Swelling after any surgery is normal, and it can take a few weeks for swelling at a healing scar to resolve. It can depend on the size & location of the incision, what sutures were used, etc. Follow the directions of your surgeon.
