Room Temp H2O Rinse: Perhaps try rinsing with room temperature water. Or a Fluoride mouth rinse such as act. Citrus fruits are typically acidic and can cause tooth sensitivity, especially if a person has teeth with exposed roots. Rinsing should help to dilute the acidity of the kumquats. If you haven't seen your dentist recently or if this continues, you should give your dentist a call.

Don't eat kumquats!: They acid of the kumquats made your teeth sensitive. Use a :sensitivity" tooth paste such as sensodyne to help with that.
