What are the physical features of a malignant cyst/lesion in the mouth? mine is under tongue, red, started hard but now soft/gummy, sensitive 2 touch.

Unlikely but...: Cancer of the mouth is a rare disease that affect usually older people with heavy history of drinking and smoking. Nevertheless, cancer of the mouth can affect younger persons infected by HPV, as STD. I would suggest to see your doctor

Many types: Many different types of lesions in the mouth may be cancerous. If it is irregularly shaped, bleeding or painful is is more likely to be cancer. Any lesions in the mouth should be examined by your doctor or dentist. You may need a biopsy to prove that it is not malignant.
