Yes: If you haven't been having regular cleanings, make sure the recession isn't associated with gum disease. If you're gums are healthy, examine your brushing technique which may be too aggressive. Consider a sonicaire electric brush which cleans without applying too much pressure. Sometimes teeth clenching can contribute to gum recession. Have an evaluation figure out why this is progressing.
