Arguably yes: The odds are high that some supplements do enhance brain function. Stands to reason--it's an organ and we know that for example omega oils help many other organs. But disentangling adequate research from hype is an herculean task. Most doctors probably have their favorites, but both curiosity and caution is needed.

Wow!!: It is a great hope by many that the health food store holds great scientific products that have been suppressed by the "drug companies". Unfortunately, other that "medical foods" which have been studied, there are few products which help the brain. Would endorse vitamins d-3, b complex, and consider co-q10, but unless you possess specific conditions which need treatment, do not waste money.
