Pain Control Program: Unfortunately arthritis will not go away - it is a finding on an MRI or x-ray but it doesn’t mean the patient is in pain. To control pain suggest core strengthening and stabilization program with an emphasis on flexion. If you smoke - stop smoking as that is a factor in back pain. Since both legs hurt, you really should be evaluated for stenosis and other problems that can cause back and leg pain.
