See the Endodontist: Not sure what the question is. If the tooth is in good condition and can be used with a reasonable prognosis (5years minimum) then have the root canal procedure completed. If not, then extraction may be best bet. If the rc treatment cannot be proberly completed, then you need to know the prognosis. See the endodontist. It is critical that the space be filled if you have extraction. Think implant.

No: Information incomplete to answer your question. Usually, when possible, have the root canal. Is the dentist unable to complete the root canal? You may need to see another dentist for a second opinion or go to a root canal specialist (endodontist).
