ER wait: As an er physician, i will apologise for my colleges on your long wait. The er is not a first come, first serve basis. The ambulances are allways coming in the back door. It is a very hectic environment going from cardiac arrest, to falls, to strep throat. The er is also the net that capures every patient who can't or won't pay medical expenses through private physicians.
