Nerve damage: Neuropathy essentially means that there is damage to the nerve and it could be from many causes. It could affect sensory nerves resulting in burning type sensation. Your husbands symptoms may be from neuropathy but he should be seen to exclude other reasons for those kinds of symptoms. Hope he feels better!
