Go to the E.R.: Although you may only have swelling, you run the risk of fractured facial bones. If one of the bones in the eye socket is broken, it can lead to problems moving the eye. Also, if the punch hit the eye socket, there is a chance that the eye was injured. You should go to the emergency room to have your injury evaluated.
