Lupus & fatigue: Lupus can cause fatigue & decreased exercise tolerance for many reasons that are poorly understood. Don't overlook other causes such as associated health conditions, lifestyle, depression, stress, medications, sleep disturbances, etc. Antimalarials are often helpful for fatigue & is one of the best medications for anyone with lupus. Talk to your doctor if you aren't on this medication now.

Many possibilities: We don't fully understand what causes lupus but we do know from recent studies that even if your lupus is not flaring, your immune system is not like someone's who does not have lupus. You may continue to have low grade inflammation that can cause fatigue. You may also be deconditioned(out of shape)& trying to get back to same level of activity as before too quickly.Sleep and diet may need improving
