Hyperthyroid: Exophthalmos (eyes protruding) occurs usually with uncontrolled hyperthyroidism; if u r under treatment for this condition, the eye problem should not occur. For those who have developed exophthalmos, an ophthalmologist has treatments for reducing the bulging. So make certain u r being treated for the thyroid condition.
