It needs to be: Done in context, was it fasting or did you guys grab an accucheck device and do this yourself? We consider, for example, below 185 to be normal on a glucose test after a 100 g glucose load. 156 may not be abnormal. Who took the test? Did she get a diabetes screen? Was it fasting? These are the questions around the interpretation. Good luck.
