No necessarily: Normal blood sugar levels in pregnancy are 60-120 depending on the time of the measurement. Medicines to treat diabetes or gest. Diabetes can cause lower blood sugar levels. There are some women in pregnancy that will develop reactive hypoglycemia and will have low blood sugars an hour or so after a meal. Very low persistant blood sugar levels, not associated to above should be evaluated by md.
