I had my throat checked by nasendoscopy, and ent dr said in report i have intra cardy pachydermia? but didn't explain, please may i know what i means?

Check spelling: While I am not an ent, as a surgeon i could break down the words. The first word intra cardy doesn't exist so please check the spelling and write down the correct spelling if possible. The second word pachydermia means very thick skin. Pachy is from elephant and dermis is skin. This is not meant to be derogatory, it is simply a description of thickened layer of skin. Call your ENT to confirm!

Throat: Probably meant pachydema larynges. Chronic vocal fold swelling from alcohol consumption, smoking and voice abuse. Janis Goplen
