Not extremely: It is not uncommon to have some mood changes, but when the changes are extreme and are disruptive to relationships, work, or significantly impact on quality fo life it woudld be wise to speak to your ob/gyn, it is possible one could have premenstrual dysphoric disorder (pmdd). This often responds to treatment.
