Yes: It is normal to be depressed over not being able to function because of a severe headache. Inability to find joy in previously enjoyable activity, eating or sleeping more than usual, suicidal thoughts, a plan to hurt yourself or others are not. If you were able to find relief of your migraine, and able to function, your mood would improve. The others are deeper issues requiring immediate care.

Yes: Migraine is a neuological event which affects a part of the brain known as the limbic system. This is the site from which regulates emotion. Thus you will become emotionally charged before during and even after a disabling migraine event.
