Just a little, really: A low dose of an inexpensive (generic) antidepressant can make all the difference. I've seen it. If your family physician is knowledgeable about this, ok. But please consult a well trained psychiatrist with experience in this particular difficulty. Paroxetine or buproprion are each a good place to start. And do make sure side effects r understood for the 3 days of use.
