Healthy Life style: In general maintain healthy lifestyle, exercise, good BP and diabetic control, low salt diet etc. Follow a low phosphorus diet ie avoid dark soda and high protein diets.

Depends: It depends on the renal function. If it is normal just a low salt healthy diet would be ok so that HTN is avoided.
