Easy: Clean teeth and use a "christmas tree" brush to clean between teeth morning and night. Also a good diet. If you have any gum bleeding from gingivitis, use a daily dose of coenzyme q 10.

Floss, floss, floss!: In my office daily flossing is 93% of home care; toothbrushing is 6% and rinsing is at best 1%. Don't believe what you see on the commercials. (have you ever seen a commercial for floss? No! because there is no profit in selling it!).

Brush, floss, irrigate: Best routine is to use an electric toothbrush - about $75 for sonicare or oral B, floss, and use an oral irrigator - waterpik- about $65.You should brush after every meal if possible, but at least after breakfast and after last meal of the day. Flossing well once a day is good, more often if needed.Oral irrigation once daily (usually at night) is an additional help. Fluoride toothpaste. Low sugar.
