What can, you use to treat the pain from braces?

Wax: You can ask your orthodontist for some wax that you apply to the braces in the areas where your cheeks are likely getting chewed up by the braces. This helps enormously. You can also buy the wax at the drugstore. It's not expensive. Good luck.

Advil (ibuprofen): Usually the pain is from stressing the teeth by moving them. So an anti-inflamatory helps the most.
