Sounds normal: Twictching is usually benign, esp in a young person. Has nothing to do with the surgery in other eye. Twitching that involves part of the face as well could be a problem.

Pretty common: Twitching is usually due to irritation, most commonly dry eye. Use artificial tears (preservative free) a lot and it should get better.
