Most commonly this is from swinting too much and the muscles that are used for squinting are overused and irritated so they twitch. Any overuse of the muscles around the eyes can cause this - from squinting, frowning, or using the muscles any way too much. Wear sunglasses when out in the sun, get your eyes tested to assess your vision and relax more.

Most likely this is Orbital Myokymia, a benign and self-limited condition. Eyestrain as a cause is but one reason and others may be the underlying reason. If this continues, a visit to an ophthalmologist might be of value.
