Perhaps: Some milder cases of viral meningitis may be overlooked and thought to be some sort of headache or a migraine event. Most cases of viral meningitis have headache, stiff neck, and fever. There is little question if the problem is caused by bacteria, fungus, tuberculosis, or even carcinomatous meningitis.
