Can symptoms of meningitis be severe and then just disappear.?

Never happens: Meningitis of any cause can result in bad symptoms, and unless treated successfully, can result in horrible outcome. There is no sudden recovery if meningitis has been present, and the improvement is gradual and steady over several weeks or months. If you were thot to have meningitis and the problems disappeared, you were labeled in error.
