Yes: People who have lost their vision can sometimes think they can still see and can even hallucinate images. This has been termed anton's phenomenon or charles bonet syndrome.

Visual anosognosia, which is denial of the visual loss as well as confabulation, making up experiences to compensate for memory loss in the setting of cortical blindness are features of Anton-Babinski syndrome. Head trauma, stroke involving the occipital lobes, MS, and more can cause damage to the visual cortex. Charles Bonnet-loss of vision for any reason, insight retained, visual hallucinations
