See your eye doctor: Red eye can be from a number of things that could be inflammatory, infectious, exposure, or a host of other possibilities. So if you have eye pain, it's best to see your eyes specialist as soon as possible, so they can determine the cause by examining you under a slit lamp. Then s/he can put you on appropriate medication/ drops to help relieve the pain.
