Minimal Risks: Any surgery can have risks, but the risks of laser vision correction happen only rarely. The more serious are infection and poor healing causing decrease in vision. See your eye md to determine whether you are a good candidate.

Laser eye surgery: Risk of laser eye surgery include dry eye, glare/haloes, possible need for enhancement, infection, corneal scarring, decreased vision, ectasia, and other problems. These issue are very uncommon though.
