Smart eating : The best treatment for a specific food intolerance is avoidance of the specific food. This can require reading labels on processed items to be sure. For some items, like the milk sugar lactose intolerance, the deficient enzyme can be supplied as a supplement, "lactaid" can reduce symptoms or eliminate them.
