By intolerance do you mean gluten sensitivity ? Gluten sensitivity is a complex autoimmune disorder where exposure generates antibodies that attack your tissues. (primarily gut) At present the only treatment is avoidance of all gluten containing products. In the future there may be something that changes. For now, no drug or supplement stops the bodies response to a gluten exposure.

Yes, Do not eat wheat is the best. Do not treat any disease with medicines that can be treated by diet alone. This includes heart disease high blood pressure preventing stroke, and brain, heart and kidney failure.
