Do dentists use teeth clamps on gaps in teeth?

Gaps? Teeth clamps?: I think you need to be more specifice here. I know what gaps between teeth are but i can't begin to figure teeth clamps. We use some devices to help fill teeth when they are missing a side. And those can be viewed as clamps. And these fillings can close gaps. Clamps?: Gaps can be closed by orthodontic means using bands, brackets, wires and elastics to orthodontically move the teeth together. Another method to close small spaces between teeth is with tooth colored composite bonding. If you have gaps between your teeth and you are not happy with the appearance of your teeth, or if food gets trapped between your teeth, discuss options with a dentist.
