Enlarged or tumor?: The pituitary can enlarge naturally. The pituitary is larger in young people (who are cranking out hormones), pregnant women, and in people who are hypothyroid with a high tsh. A "tumor" in the pituitary is of more concern, but if very small, and if not producing excess hormone, may not require treatment. You should see an endocrinologist.
