Maybe: When your braces come off you may have decalcifications that will need Fluoride treatment or even fillings depends how good your hygiene was, also if you do not wear your retainers may end up with shifting of the teeth.

Oral Hygiene......: Most complications resulting form braces are oral hygiene dependent. Poor oral hygiene leads to bulky gums which in turn makes it hard to remove all of the glue. Poor oral hygiene also causes white scaring on teeth around the brackets where plaque has sat too long and decalcified the enamel. Brush and floss properly and you will have none of these.
