If a person has ms is it common to not have total blindness, but have delayed reading vision?

Poor near vision: One does not have to have optic neuritis with a history of multiple sclerosis. There are lots of folks who haven't! after age 40, they may develop presbyopia which is normal for that age. Alternatively, cataracts could form from chronic oral steroid use.

Yes. : Ms causes problems with the optic nerve. This transmits eyesight to the brain. Vision can be dimmed an this is noted more for detection of colors and in dim light. This can be detected by an eye exam and a test called a visual field.
