Maybe: You can take the medication twice a day if necessary. You should also be evaluated by a GI specialist to see if you have a bacteria called h. Pylori that is worsening your reflux. This maybe treated with antibiotics if necessary. If these medications do not work and you have persistent reflux, surgical options are available.
