Can a "growing" varicocele render infertility? should pain with it be cause for worry?

Maybe: A varicocele, if large, can affect the function of a testicle, which could affect sperm counts which could possibly affect fertility. Pain is usually related to the size of the varicocele and is only indirectly related to testicle function. If you're having pain, you should see a urologist.
