any advice on how to get my 1year old to start sleeping through the night?

Night night: To sleep all night, a baby needs to self-soothe. Babies should "remember" being put down for bedtime. Don't let him/her fall asleep while being held or fed. Follow a regular bed time routine, and put the baby in her crib while she is tired, comfortable, but ready to sleep.
