A member asked:

Can biofilm form in the nose or sinuses even if you have cilia or oly if your cilia have all been destroyed?

Yes: Absent some unusual circumstances, biofilms form constantly in all of us. The cilia are designed to move the films to get rid of bacteria, dust, other debris that may be trapped in the film. This is a normal process.

BIOFILMS-EVERYWHERE : In our biofilm solutions text we discuss that they can form ANYWHERE. In every tissue, in every tissue cavity, and 35 million in USA have biofilm infection sinus trouble. Sadly, the options that work, are larger than known. But science is starting to increase biofilm options. Will be some time until routine in all medical care. So biofilms can be on nasal/sinus candida or bacteria.
