Kidneys?: Kidneys are right behind the area you describe. Are you urinating well? Any change? Drink lots of water. Muscle spasm, disease in colon, vertebral column, including discs and nerves are other sources of problems in this distribution.

See a doctor ASAP: Your pain could be several possibilities. You may have a urinary tract infection that may have started in your bladder but now is in your kidneys. If sexually active, a std infection may have spread to your tubes causing pelvic inflammation. Lungs and/or linings can get inflamed causing pain. Trauma or new activity can cause muscle strain and pain. Only with an exam can you know for sure.
