Hcg levels: In early pregnancy, HCG levels are expected to approximately double every 48 hours. When doubling does not happen we suspect abnormal pregnancy. However, there are occasional normal pregnancies that may not follow the HCG rules. Therefore it is extremely important to continue close monitoring of this pregnancy with your physician.
