Use specific workout: In gym they can teach you how to target specific muscle group - use resistance training excercise, physical therapist can also help you understand how to workout a specific area (like squatting).

Good question: No way to do targeted weight-loss without equipment, at least that I am aware of. Plenty of machines can help like rf devices and liposuction, mesotherapy. If you find out let me know!
