Check with MD: I would check with your physician. It is always better not to take medications during pregnancy unless there is an emergency. Also, there may be another medication that is safer.

Use caution: Tramadol is used for post operative pain. This medication has a pregnancy risk of c in the insert of the medication. That means that the absolute safety of this medication in pregnant women is unknown. Ibuprofen has a better rating except in the 3rd trimester. You may want to talk about this with your dentist. If you feel like you don't or won't need pain med then don't take any.

Ask your OB-GYN: Taking nothing is safer. This is a matter that both you and your dentist should discuss with your obstetrician prior to the procedure and everyone should be on the same page and comfortable with the decision. One must always way the potential risks again the benefits of any treatment and any medication. The final decision is ultimately a personal one.
