Contact dermatitis : Your condition may be the result of some localized hypersensitive reaction secondary to shoe wear with transfer and spreading to the hands. As you described very well, the presence of itchiness, redness, and swelling is indicative of a cutaneous reaction after skin exposure to trigger materials. A medical consult is warranted due to your pregnancy. Otherwise, otc steroids will work as treatments.
