NASH / NAFLD: Complicated. Need a very low fat diet and monitoring of blood to make sure there is no diabetes or high choleseterol that needs treatment. Depending upon lft elevation may need biopsy and routine monitoring of lft. Certainly need review of meds / alcohol use and immunization against viral hepatitis.
