Reaction of body: Inflammation is the response of your body, specifically vascular tissue to protect against a perceived injury, threat or infection. Acute or chronic. Helps remove the injurious threat and move on to the healing phase. Our body, especially with a western diet can have too much baseline inflammation. This can lead to hardening of the arteries, possibly cancer, rheumatologic disorders, allergies.
